I body-painted myself in girlish colours and graphics to recreate the joy and thoughts of girlhood. Filled with an innocent romance in the air, I pondered whether or not the ways boys and girls dress are to attract each other and, at the same time, to feel a sense of security. Finally, I rinsed the colour off as a representation of an end to girlhood with the metamorphosis into the new me. With maturity and growth, they reflect the heart’s desire; clothing can be another form of communication.
